Our Favourite Apps At CLiKD HQ!

  • Over the past 2 months, we’ve all been slowly getting to grips with the new normal. It hasn’t been easy, but one thing that has kept us going is the abundance of apps available. With phone screen times increasing every week, it seems we’re all turning to old and new apps to keep our minds active. Check out the best and our favourite apps that are helping the CLiKD team stay sane, safe and thoroughly entertained!

    • Wish

Wish is one of our ultimate favourite apps

Have you ever wanted to buy a pair of tracksuit bottoms with Nicholas Cage’s face all over them? Yes? (They’re actually hard, tbf…) Well then, Wish is the app for you. The app hosts and sells some of the most weird and wonderful items we have seen, but we’re all for that at CLiKD. So, if you’re looking for a gold facemask, bike lights shaped like testicles (weird flex, but ok) or a mystery box, amongst other things, we recommend you head to Wish…

    • Smule

Smule will be one of your favourites

Do you love Karaoke as much as us? Well, Smule is the app for you. There are millions of songs for you to choose from across all your favourite genres. Sing a duet, solo or join a group performance with other users! You can even live out your dreams and duet with some top artists.

    • Remente

    We love revenge

Remente is a goal-setting app to help users live their best life. It’s so important to give yourself some self-care and love, and this app lets you do just that. Here at CLiKD HQ, we don’t know what we’d do without it. So if you want to improve your mental strength, reach our goals and enhance your life, download Remente!

    • Reflectly

Reflectly is one of our favourites

Reflectly is a personal journal and diary that enables you to deal with negative thoughts and improve your mental wellbeing. The e-journal will help you reduce stress, get perspective, develop gratitude and learn to apply empathy and kindness to every aspect of your life. We fully understand the importance of mental health at CLiKD, which is why we put an advice section directly into our app to help you navigate the often tricky and complicated world of dating with a positive mental attitude.

    • Bunch

Bunch is one of our new favourites

So, Houseparty got boring. Right? And, pretty much cancelled when the accusations of phone hacking started to spread. Well this will replace it as one of your favourite apps, trust us. To fill in our socially distanced gaming needs, for the past couple of weeks, the CLiKD Crew have been all over Bunch. Bunch comes with a number of built-in games Mars Dash (a fun racing game) and a multiplayer version of Flappy Bird, which is so good. It also supports a number of third party games like Minecraft and Uno. So, if you’re looking to play mobile games with your mates at a distance, we definitely recommend downloading Bunch.

    • Strava

Strava is one of our favourite apps

It seems like we’ve all started running now. (Actual-physical-real-life running, not just metaphorically running away from our problems.) Staying fit and healthy is so important for your mental and physical wellbeing, so we can’t recommend Strava enough. One member of the CLiKD Team has even made it into the top 10 fastest runners on a route in their area – if that’s not motivation to get up and run, we’re not sure what is.

    • VSCO

VSCO is one of our favourite apps

For all your Instagram editing needs, VSCO is a content creators dream. From editing photos to checking out other creators work, the app is the perfect blend of photo editor and social media site. The lack of like counts and comments is great too, as it stops any trolling and unnecessary competition between users. It’s a staple app for the creative team at CLiKD and we think you’ll love it too.

    • And one to watch… Whale

Whale is an app to watch

You probably know this by now, but at CLiKD, we absolutely love a good meme. Let’s be honest, who doesn’t? Well, good news everyone, the clever people over at Facebook have softly launched a new meme-making app, currently being tested in Canada. We’re ready to add this to our favourite apps. In Whale, users can take a photo, select a picture from their camera roll, or browse the app’s library of stock images in order to create a meme. If and when this app will become available elsewhere is unknown, but we’re hyped at the prospect of an easy-to-use app to create our own dank memes.
